Chinook is a New York 40 launched in 1916 by N.G.Herreshoff along with her eleven sisters. This one design class raced together for around 10 years and gained the nick name “The fighting forties”. Found in Mystic Seaport in 2010, she found her way to Europe and was fully restored two years later.
