Ojala II was born in Holland in 1973 at the famous Royal Huisman Shipyard. She was built in aluminium and the primary objective was to win the One ton cup held that year in Sardinia. She represents one of the last pure IOR classic designs before the big Peterson revolution.
Amongst her wins, she counts the 1975 Giraglia and 1976 Middle sea race.
